This was my first time using a safety razor. I was not impressed. The quality of the product is really good. My problem with it is the shave quality I get. I bought a variety package of blades including Feather. Some of the blades were DEFINITELY sharper and better than the others..and (btw) the Feather was at the top of the list.HOWEVER, in order to get a close shave I had to go over and over and over some areas of my face..I am 51 I know how to shave..This was just disappointing.
I really think that all the Hype and BS that I read and reviewed ad-nausea..affected my better judgement on this purchase. In conclusion. If you are an adult and not scared shitless that you might nick yourself. Buy a safety razor with a more aggressive or maybe an adjustable head..I literally shaved my man privates (as I have done for many years) with this thing with no problem..EXCEPT..it still shaved no better than a Mach 3..In fact I like the Mach 3 MUCH better for that particular area. I REALLY do think that an aggressive razor will probably work VERY well... I sincerely hope that this is a helpful review.
